First Shoot
For the first final piece shoot I have taken images of models in a woods on their own in different locations and in different poses. I have chosen to do this as I feel the setting of the woods has created a mysterious atmosphere, which relates to the topic of sublime.

To take these image I used a tripod and got the models to act natural whilst taking their photograph. To edit them I made them black and white and then adjusted the levels to make the forest background darker and the model lighter, therefore allowing them to stand out in the image. I then printed the black and white images and painted different coloured lines down the image to introduce the colour element to the images. I believe this adds a brightness to the image and helps the image create a more happy atmosphere.
Second Shoot
For this shoot I have taken images of pairs of models throwing powder paint at each other and then all four models doing the same thing. I have done this as the colour of the powder paint allows me to continue to explore colour as a theme and also the images relate to sublime as the models are having fun whilst doing something that is not an everyday experience, that is instead 'extreme/unparalleled', which is the definition of sublime.

To create these edits I set my camera to a fast shutter speed and used a tripod in order to capture the powder paint and also the models, who were moving around, in focus. I digitally enhanced them on Photoshop by adjusting the levels to make the forest background darker and the green moss appear more rich to allow the models to stand out. I asked the models to wear white tops in order to achieve an image where the models could be easily seen, meaning they were the focus of the image as well as the powder paint clouds.
Final Edits
To present the final edits I printed three edits as A3 and then six edits as A4, all printed on photographic paper. I then cut them down, used spray glue to stick them onto foam board and used a scalpel to cut the images out with the foam background. After this I arranged them how I would want them to be displayed.
